FAQ

What is a fanzine?
A fanzine is a collection of unofficial works created by one or many fans of a piece of media.

How old do I have to be to apply?
Though this zine could be considered PG or PG-13, we would prefer all applicants to be 18+.

Can I apply for multiple positions?
Absolutely! Though you may apply for as many as you'd like, you will only be accepted for one. Please let us know which position you are most interested in when applying.

What is a pinch hitter?
When applying for a position, you can also apply as a pinch hitter. In the case where one of our contributors needs to drop out, one of our pinch hitters can fill in that role and help to complete a piece under whatever amount of time is remaining to complete the zine.

What is not permitted in Like a Prayer?
We will not be allowing any themes of pedophilia, incest, sexual assault, homophobia, transphobia, or racism. No NSFW content will be allowed for this zine either.

Will ships be allowed?
Though ships are permitted, we ask that they not be the main focus of your work.

How will contributors be compensated?
All contributors will receive a free digital copy of the zine. Additional revenue will also be split amongst contributors.

Will I be able to keep the rights to my work?
Of course! Once the zine has been officially released, all contributors are free to do whatever they'd like with their works.
